Arsenal and Everton target Wilfried Zaha remains intent on forcing his way out of Crystal Palace, while PSG made a mega offer to Paul Pogba, according to Thursday’s papers.
ZAHA TAKING DRASTIC STEPS TO FORCE PALACE EXIT
Wilfried Zaha has reportedly told his agent that he wants to terminate their contract after failing to secure a summer move away from Crystal Palace.
Zaha had admitted before the season was out that he wanted a new challenge, with both Arsenal and Everton both showing heavy interest in the Ivory Coast international.
However, Zaha had to stay put as Palace dug their heels in over their £80million valuation of their top star.
But according to The Times, Zaha has told his agent he wants to terminate their contract, citing the latter’s relationship with Palace chairman Steve Parish.
It has been reported that the agent, Will Salthouse, whose agency USM helped thrash out some of the biggest deals of the summer window, has been told in writing about Zaha’s desire to go their different ways.
Everton are now likely to be the main frontrunners to try and land Zaha again in January after Arsenal moved for Lille winger Nicolas Pepe before the transfer window shut.
