One European giant has leapt to the front of the queue for an unsettled Tottenham star, while a Manchester United midfielder has a proposal from Inter Milan, according to Saturday’s European papers.

Christian Eriksen is set to choose Bayern Munich over Real Madrid, Juventus or Inter Milan, according to Sport 1.

The Tottenham playmaker is in the final year of his contract, and it looks increasingly likely that he will not renew and head for pastures new instead.

German outlet Sport1 say that Eriksen is now a serious option for Bayern, who could be looking to replace Thomas Muller in the summer.

With the Danish midfielder able to negotiate with foreign clubs from January, there is the chance that he could accept a transfer which would cost the Bundesliga giants nothing.

There are contrasting reports about his future from France, though. Le10Sport (via SportsMole) suggest that Juventus remain heavily interested in Eriksen, and could even offer summer signing Adrien Rabiot as part of a swap bid.

Rabiot caused much controversy in his last season at Paris Saint Germain, having failed to negotiate a new contract, moving to Juventus on a free in the summer.

However, his time in Turin has started in a similar vein, and he has already been linked with a move away. If Juventus are looking to get him off the books, then he could be sent to Spurs, it is suggested.
